Worked this out in the end. We had disabled the 'Disable Auto Save' as the pop up was annoying users so enabled it and found that the text saved as expected. Dan

CA program is a Helpdesk program tracking tickets, etc. I uninstalled on my system but it is installed on all our clients.

I have seen a similar issue every once in a while when using MRC. If you select E it will open up Explorer, M would minimize, etc. I hit the Windows Key and the issue went away.
